Classic Jumbo Shells
You will need:
- 1 package PRINCE Jumbo Shells, uncooked.
- 1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage or lean ground beef
- 2/3 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 (26 oz.) jar pasta sauce (I used Classico)
- 1 (15 oz.) container ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
Time to cook!
- Preheat oven to 375'F
- Cook pasta 10 minutes, meanwhile, in large skillet, brown meat, onion,and garlic; pour off fat.
- stir in pasta sauce
- in large bowl, mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan and egg
- stuff pasta with cheese mixture
- in 13x9-inch baking dish, pour HALF the sauce mixture; arrange stuffed pasta in sauce.
- top with remaining sauce.
- cover; bake 30 minutes covered.
- uncover, sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Bake 5 minutes.
